2004 – CIMA and Financial Management Awards UK –adjudged as “Highly Commended Business Leader of the Year”.

2004 – CIMA / Janashakthi Pinnacle Awards 2003 – adjudged as the Business Leader of the Year 2003 for large scale category – Gold Award (joint with Dr. Hans Wijesuriya of Dialog).

Co-author of book, “Costumes of Sri Lanka”, which won the State Literary Award for the best prose non-fiction in 2003
